About Meg
Meg is a singer-songwriter, performer and facilitator, born in London, now based in Margate. A 2020 Guildhall School of Music graduate with a First Class degree, she has since built a dynamic career that spans recording, live performance and community music. Meg has performed with artists including Jordan Rakei and Tommy Blaize, appeared at the Barbican, and featured on Later… with Jools Holland. She has also headlined and sold out St Pancras Old Church, and completed her first tour in summer 2025.Her debut album Girls Like Lions (2021) and EP Of Hope (2024) received airplay on Jazz FM and BBC Radio 3, establishing her as an expressive songwriter whose work blends warmth, honesty and contemporary storytelling. In addition to her solo practice, Meg is a dedicated facilitator and educator. She leads Margate Children’s Choir, runs workshops for young musicians, and teaches vocal and creative development across a range of settings.Meg also co-presents Margate Sounds with Cat & Meg, a community-focused radio show celebrating local music and creative voices. Her work combines artistic excellence with a strong commitment to accessibility, collaboration and community engagement.
